I’m just gonna say it, I’m sick of wearing Sweaters. I know I know, they are the ultimate in cozy Winter attire and don’t get me wrong 9 times out of 10 in the colder months I’ll be sporting one under my parka. It’s usually around this time in our never-ending winter that I start to crave the days of blouses, tanks and lighter layers. Since I have no vacation in sight and this Canadian Winter won’t be letting up anytime soon I figured now was the time to creative with my winter layers.
Now the key to incorporating these lighter layers is to make sure your topper is warm AF so you don’t freeze to death outside. I’ve been living in this Faux Fur number for awhile since it’s both cute and surprisingly toasty even in our frigid temps.
I picked up this sheer star top from Zara last year and I’ve been itching to wear it again so I figured why not layer another piece on top. I threw this faux suede tank on top and loved the combo of the textures together so really it was a win-win. Also any time I can inject my outfit with a little 90’s nostalgia I am here for it. (See: skinny strap tanks layered over baby doll tees here.)
If you’re not quite ready to give up on those sweaters just yet here’s some more winter layering inspo for ya. Stay warm my friends!
